Would this appeal to anyone?

Before anyone goes nuts at me for advertising in a backwards way, I am absolutely not, I am merely toying with an idea and wanted opinions...
I am considering getting a sharer for my mare a couple of days a week. In return for being able to ride, I would hope to get maybe 1/2 the cost of her hay every month (as it has shot up in price so flippin' much!) and the cost of her shoes covered by the sharer. In total, I think that this would average out to maybe £52 a month, approximately.
However (and here's where your opinions come in!) I am really, really precious about her. She is a very sensitive soul at times. She does nothing nasty like bucking or rearing, she is fantastic to handle etc. she hacks out alone and in company with no trouble - a real gem! But it has taken me a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get her schooling up together - which is still an ongoing thing and because of this, I absolutely would not want anyone schooling her, even with my instructor. I really would hate to have all of my hard work undone by someone, no matter how well meaning they are, so I would share her out STRICTLY to a happy hacker only. I am also uber fussy about mucking out! However, I would happily do this every day, even on the sharers days, because I know that basically I am being anal about it!
So, am I placing too many limitations on a sharer for people to be interested? She's my baby, and I really don't want to share her, but needs must financially, and also it would do her no harm at all to be hacked out a couple of times a week by someone else. Am I asking for too much money for this?
Opinions please?

Blimey if you were nearer and I didn't have my own big thug to look after I'd snap your hand off!! I hate schooling, hate mucking out and would be perfectly happy to hack out any day of the week!!! I think for a someone who just wants to enjoy the countryside in the company of a well behaved horse it's a great deal. If you work that out at a price per ride, 2 hacks a week is £6.50 per hack which if you compare to the cost of hacking out at a riding school (if you can find any now that do hacking and most certainly you'll not find any unaccompanied hacks) it's a bargain.

I'm not sure I would pay £50+pcm to hack out a couple of times a week with no opportunity for anything else like lessons, it is over £10 a week..... You might get lucky but I think you are asking a bit much for what you are offering tbh.

I think the amount you are asking is fine probably same as 2 hacks at a school. I know 2 sharers who pay £86 a month happily and neither ride more than once a week both only hack out but that is by choice.
The only thing I would be concerned about is whether you could cope, what happens is it is raining on a sharers day and they want to ride in the school? Or if they school on a hack ( I do that a lot) That could happen a lot esp with winter coming. I think you need to either be able to cope with that or not look for a sharer.

Noooo, don't do it!! Courses more trouble than is worth sharing etc especially if you are particular about things. Totally understand about not wanting to mess up what u have done, I wouldnt want someone to mess up my horses schooling. Hacking can still mess them up too, i.e. could get nappy/whizzy etc depending on what rider like. Unless you could get someone you knew or someone, someone else knew very well that you could trust.........Price not too bad :)

Are you sure you really want to do this, as i always school when out hacking as most riders do.
Think seriously about it as, it seems like you really only want someone to help you out with the cost of winter.
If that is the case get a small loan and no trouble about someone else touching your horse

That's exactly what I'm looking for, a horse that would just be a happy hacker with me. I'm sure there is someone out there looking for a nice hacking horse, not everyone wants to school. :)

there's a 26 years young mare where my share gelding is and people have been interested in a similar arrangement + mucking out for her. She's got tonnes of go in her, but her legs can't cope with circles so can't really school. And under £15 a week with no jobs is pretty cheap. I reckon there would be loads of people out there. But i would be worried about how precious and fussy you sound to be about her, as everyone has different ways of doing things and it sounds like that will drive you mad...
