Would this be a bad idea?

I currently work part time and on the days I do work my dogs (terriers aged 6 months and 10yr) go to my parents for the day. Parents live 8 miles in the opposite direction to my work which is 25 miles away so its quite a trip taking them and then collecting them after a full days work. Work have now asked me to increase my days. My parents have suggested dropping the dogs off on my way to work one day, leaving them overnight and then collecting them after work the following day, in an effort to cut time, mileage and petrol costs as the job is not well paid but is all that I have been able to find after redundancy. I know the dogs will be happy with this as they get spoiled rotten, walked for an hour three times a day and someone with them all day. My main concern is for the 6mth pup - will she get confused and not know who her owner is? I've not had her long (rescue dog) and feel she hasnt really bonded with me yet as I'm still struggling with recall trainining with her. My parents aren't the greatest of disciplinarians and think she's cute and so may well let her get away with murder.

Ahhh don't stress about it, it's nice they aren't left at home while you work and have a second home! As regards parents being bit soft on the baby, well thats already happening at the moment, so nothings changing there either xx

No she won't.

This is a very similar situation to my OH and his son's little dog. Since having her as a puppy the son has brought the dog to my OH's every weekend etc. She's a very happy well balanced little dog who knows exactly who everyone is and what her place in each household is.
