Ridden showing with a pink plaster on my arm? My local RC's 1st show is on the 18thMay but my cast isn't coming off until 20th! I really want to do it!!

And also with a dark green and navy blue twed jacket would a tie or stock be better?

Will the jacket fit over the cast?

If so, then can you not wear gloves to cover the cast on your hand?

LOL - the one and only time I had a half plaster for a suspect fracture - I took the bloody thing off myself - it was driving me mad and ended up being filthy dirty!

Talk to your consultant - I am sure he will relent and take it off earlier !

I always wear a stock but have to say that a brightly coloured tie and matching shirt is very attractive.

I would - as long as your jacket will fit over it. What about getting some vet wrap in a more "subtle" colour and putting that over the top of the existing pink plaster just to tone it down a little bit. It will peel off easily once you have finished as well!!!

when i broke my arm i competed with it throughout. just covered it with jacket and gloves. Conslutant sadi shouldnt ride for 6 to 8 weeks but was back in the saddle 2 days later doing canter circles one hands. if u feel happy go for it.
xxx

Ive only been up and riding again since Sunday, but I feel 100% on Bear, I dont want the plaster off before the show cos my wrist would be quite weak and I dont want it popping out or snapping again!!
YUK!!

Ive ridden and shown with a broken wrist. get a long sleved shirt, and a deacent glove and no one will be any the wiser.

I would check with the event Secretary, because their could be insurance implications.

Agree with this, and also check with your own Insurers
