After my post last night about what colour jacket to buy and most saying tweed, would this jacket be ok for SJ, maybe dressage and hopefully showing?

Yes - definitely worth a go!

I found - being a slightly strange shape - that I tried on a lot of jackets - and if a jacket fits you well it makes all the difference. My tweed jacket was quite expensive - but really fits, including having enough length in the arms to fit my gangly arms. I picked up a black jacket made by the same company for £35 off ebay (brand new) and I love it.

Have you been to your local tack shop and tried any on to give you an idea of what makes fit you better than others?

sorry to sound stupid but am quite new to going to shows. Why only used at local level? that is what i will be doing but just interested.

I havn't tried this jacket on anywhere but i have found out the arm length as i also have long arms.
