Would you affiliate?

Hi I have a 22yr old 14.2hh mare who is a JA pony she has jumped bsja as a pony, then as a horse then back as a pony again in the past! She hasnt been registered bsja for about 8yrs Iv had her 7yrs and have competed her unaffiliated up to 1.30m After a few years off iv lost abit of confidence and will only jump up to 1.10m on her. Do you think I should affiliate her?

Can do obviously you will be limited to JA classes and opens.

Not sure where the op are but i no off a few places around me that have unaff up to 1m30. They are very few a far between though!

The money on your pony's card stays with it forever so if you affiliate be prepared to mainly jump in opens as it will probably be out of most of the classes due to previous winnings.

Is that for real? 1.30m unaffiliated - can you give me the names of some of the venues around you that do this, as I'd be interested to see what format they follow, what sort of prize money they offer etc.

Sorry i thought i had seen 1.30m but it is actually 1.20m.

If you look at the programme section and then the combined training on the 8th of march there is a 1.20m pure showjumping.

I was sure it was 1.30m but i mustn't have had my glasses on!!
