Right, very long story short: need a new saddle as mine doesn't fit me. Friend is selling a fab saddle which fits me and seems to fit pone. I've ridden in in several times, jumped him it (jumped one of our biggest ever jumps!) and he seems happy.

I thought I couldn't afford the saddle, it now looks like I can, but my friend has someone else waiting for it if I don't have it.

Saddle fitter will be out at the yard next week - my friend doesn't mind waiting but if this other person comes back to her in the meantime and says she'll have it then it will go to her

so if I wait for the saddle fitter to check it I risk losing out on it!

What would you do? Saddle is a very good price, and is lovely...

Buy it!!!! You've ridden in it loads and Murphy seems happy enough in it - as dte says, you can always sell it to person waiting if it doesnt fit

Buy it then get it checked, if it doesnt fit...so what you've learnt something and will know what to look for next time, then stick it on ebay or sell back to other person who was wanting it in the first place, either way someone is going to end up with it and be happy with their new purchase.

Yes. However in this case, i would buy it, get it checked, and if it doesn't fit, offer it to the other person!!!
