I had a job interview almost two weeks ago at an event yard down south ie england and the owner said she would contact me on the 4th to let me know wheter I had got the job.

I understand that she will busy with the horses etc but with her being a proffesional i thought she would have phoned back on time or a few days later but now she still hasnt called

what should i do? do i call her or wait for her to contact me

To be honest, yes i would be annoyed but if you haven't had a call then i would leave it. If she wants you she'll call you and if she hasn't and does then sounds like she would be an unreliable person to work for. Soz just my opinion

see thats what i thought i dont see why i should phone her to find out if i got the job as she knows that i want it as i travelled 400 miles to go to see the place for a job on a yard! crazy maybe but i dont see how hard it is for a two minute conversation to let me know if i got the job or send me a text or even email

There could be a genuine reason why she hasn't phoned you - Eg. illness / accident to self or family member. I would politely phone / text, remind her of the effort you went to & that she said she'd call thus giving her the opportunity to be 'professional'. If her response isn't 'professional' then I must admit I'd be inclined to tell her what I think of her non professional conduct!

She's a professional? Well she's not behaving like a professional. She should have phoned to let you know one way or another. Personally, it would put me off working for her and no I wouldn't ring her.

I would phone her. There may be a good reason she hasn't phoned you. If she has chosen not to employ you, politly ask her for feedback as to why, as this may help you improve your chances with other job interviews.

she's probably just being a dick and is too up herself to not let you know you haven't got the job. happens too often.

LOL!! but unfortunately all too true!!

would give her a call just in case she's had a problem/lost your number but ask yourself if you really want to work for someone so inconsiderate/disorganised/*insert own adjective*
