I get for sale ads from our local smallholders bulletin and a few weeks ago someone was advertising some 6' rugs. I emailed her and she described them, the only one I really was interested in was a 6' rambo lightweight turnout. She said she would keep it for me if I sent a cheque which I did.
Today I made the 50 mile round trip to find it isn't a rambo but a rhino, much cheaper rug made by horseware, ok I can still use it though probably wouldn't have made such a long trip for it. BUT when I get home and unfold it, I find it isn't 6' either but 5'9!! Grrr, double grrrr!
BTW she left it on the step for me, she wasn't there or I would have asked her for my money back straight away.
I have emailed her but I am really cross, what a waste of my time ( I paid £15 for it so not too bad).
Would you just accept it or try and get a refund? I don't want to sell it on ebay as I hate selling on ebay and I don't want to take it back as it already cost me a gallon of diesel!
