I have recently found out that someone has taken pictures/videos of my horses in the fields, and are posting them on forums/on line photo sites passing them off as their own horses.
To begin with I was a bit cross, initially because someone had actually gone into the field to take these pictures! I was also angry that whoever it was is passing off horses as their own that they have nothing at all to do with! But then I thought about it, and come to the conclusion really it is a bit sad.If they can't afford/don't have a horse of their own, and feel the need to fantasize about owning my lot, they must be desperate, lol.
I have come to conclusion that it is pathetic really, and am no longer cross (other than the tresspassing part). I haven't bothered reporting it, or asking the forum hosts/photo sites to remove the pictures (I doubt that they would anyway). I just wondered whether other people would be bothered as I was telling someone at the yard about it and they got really cross, saying that if any of their horses were on there they would contact the police, but what could the police actually do? Nothing I bet.
