Would you buy a horse with issues??

Massive thanks to all who replied. It would seem that the general consensus is to steer clear!!
I'm looking at a budget of approx £1500 so not alot to work with.
I'd consider a very laid back type youngster but not keen on taking on someone else's problem horse. I'm not going to be looking for a world beater...just a fun and safe hack with some jumping thrown in.

What's your monthly livery / running costs budget? If the seat h takes a couple of months, the saving in outgoings could easily add a grand to your budget :)
