I think it's Sod's Law either way, you could buy one with a sacroid and have no problem through the horses life, but buy free of the problem and one develops and is aggressive.
My hubbys mare had sarcoids, two when she was 7 months old, another when she was 5 yrs old, all three were removed, and so far we have had no more problems with them. She is now 16 yrs old.
I think i might buy another horse with sarcoids, but not on the sheath.
