I've just put a hat for sale online. It's a brand new charles Owen wellington that the online shop would not accept back as My OH put the postage labels direct on the box (knew I shouldn't let him be responsible for anything!!)
Question is, would you buy a hat off an online site? Can anyone think of a better way? was thinking ebay but have to pay on there!!

depends, i had a second hand hat for ages (turns out it was older then me :o) i was young and just went along with the 'rents lol

the wellington is the show style hat isnt it, guessing its navy, what size is it. Im showing on a budget so i would go for it if i needed one (just for competing in).

Eek. I worried that may be the case. Bloomin men! Cost me over £120 then had to go out and buy another! That's a warning for all those buying online without gettin measured in a specific make - I was measured as 7 in Harry hall but am a 6 3/4 in CO!

It's pre loved I've just put it on so will see if I get any response - fingers crossed!. It's a black velvet size 7. Like I say, ended up with a 6 3/4 in the end so much too big!

hope said man footed the bill for the replacement. after all it is his fault...
and you need something else to cheer yourself up with aswell.

like a new tweed jacket (measure first though!)

I would as I would probably believe that it was bought wrong size. I have a dressage topper with the tags still on which I need to sell so hopefully someone will believe me!

Yes there is a pristine box but the company I bought from is quite a small one and it's always the same person I speak to so no pulling the wool over there eyes by re boxing unfortunately!!
