Would you buy a yearling unseen?

Yes , I’ve done it a few times . But always at a price that I can afford to lose . Each time i prepare myself for a dodgy /lame one turning up and each time they’ve been better than I expected. However I’ve bought for a reason , usually to keep another homebred company etc so it’s always been bought with resale in mind . If I was buying for a future ride I’d want to go and view . The right attitude is so important.

Yay! Where are the photos?

I always said I wouldn't buy unseen but then, because of Covid, I did. 4yo from Ireland. I had a pro yard who would do selling livery if he'd ended up not what I wanted but he has been ace.

Good luck in January!

Yes, if I was buying from the stud that Daisy and Amber came from, I would know what I was getting.
Which I sort of have as they bred Aspen for me :D

I put a deposit down on a 6 month old, based off of an advert with two photos and a page from his mothers breeding.
best thing I ever did! Went and saw him a couple of weeks later
