Would you buy beaded browband ?

I have been thinking of more things that I can sell in my little buissness leading up to christmas, I have stumbled across these whilst searching on the internet.

Any way - Would you want the beads to be wired on or prefer them to be softer perhaps with a heavy duty thread ?

Plastic or glass beads ?

How much would you be willing to pay ?

I do really like them and if it wasn't for the fact I had a native who suits thicker 'workmanlike' bridles, I'd consider one - especially for a finer headed horse.

My only concern would be how long-lasting they are as don't look as durable as the diamante browbands?

If they were though, I'd happily pay between about £15-£25 depending upon the style and how decorative it was.

I have a chain browband that I love.

It's not quite as fancy as this one, but the leather ends are the same.

With the bead ones

I dont like the ends. They aren't leather (well, they don't look it) and they are cut off 'square' rather than shaped. This would probably rub my mare as she's a sensitive little love.

They look very cheaply made, a piece of biothane webbing, 2 rivets and some beads, about 50p worth of materials, wonder what they charge for them?
Wouldn't take much to break them, they stopped using internal wire for strength in alot of Arab show tack as it was cutting through the plastic and cutting into the horses.I don't like to see wire of any shape or form in any tack.

I would, but only if it was mounted on a proper leather browband, as mine is quite sensitiev around his head, I have a diamante albion one for special days, and they aren't cheap

They look like they will break easily and would prefer the ends to be leather...but they do look lovely on the pony in the photo on the website.

I'm not that keen on them as I like more traditional looking browbands.

I only like the ones mounted on leather.

The true breaded ones like the one you posted op, are ok for Arabs but I don't think they suit many horses.

For a really nice leather backed one I'd pay up to £60
