Theres a horsebox advertised in my local feed merchants at the moment, Rice Beaufort looks ok and well maintained in photos and new floor put in last year. Only thing putting me off is it's 20 years old, gonna have a look anyway but would the age put you off?
Thanks :)

Get it checked out thoroughly by a specialist trailer mechanic. Also watch out for the tyres. It should have trailer tyres on it at a pressure of about 70 p.s.i. and not normal car tyres.

Really does depend on the price they're asking. If price was right, then yes, I'd go and have a look.

My current trailer is an old Bahill and must be at least 15 years old - and I love it to bits and am confident it's got a good few more years left in it yet!

Just cos its replaced doesn't mean it was replaced correctly of with the correct materials! Deffo get someone qualified to chek it out for you.

Smirnoff- how far are you from carlisle? Do you want my trailer. Ifor williams (the big one), its older, but has a new metal floor in, comes with full breast bar and normal seperaters. pm me :)

I used to have a old rice trailer, another thing you will need to consider is the weight of it as they are a lot heavier than the new trailers that are now made, so you need a good strong vehicle to pull it and some models you have a reversing pin that you have to put in and out when you want to reverse!
