Thanks to the lovely white stuff which has caused everyone so many problems, I'm now due to compete two days in a row. Plan A, was we'd do summerhouse today at 90 and 1m as a sort of pre run for some PC JAS on the 13th where I'd entered the 90-95 and 1m-1m05..

Summerhouse has (thankfully) postponed today, but have moved it to the 12th. :( Is it totally not a good idea to jump both days? I'd not at all an ideal situation, but I've only done a couple of BS 1m classes and was hoping to have another one under my belt before the PC JAS! :o Bearing in mind that both comps are about 1 1/2 hours away too.. and that also I might be in a team for the 90-95 PC comp (but can always ring team manager to check)

Just wondering what you'd do as I don't really know where to go from here! :)

Absolutely, I have been in championships for things and competed three days straight. Some of the classes and championships didn't end until 12:00 at night. I am sure your horse will cope, and maybe it will give you a chance to reflect on day one and improve it straight away for day 2!

Good luck!

At away shows people often do three without too much trouble! As long as you are being economical in your warm ups then they are usually only a little tired on the third day, so two will be easy. At PC/RC camps they do three days of 1-1.5 hr lessons morning and afternoon and they always cope well.

Ok thanks all feeling a bit less mean now! :)

Apart from the jumping I was also a little concerned about traveling him for 3 hours total each day, but he is a fairly good traveler.
