Bought some hoof varnish from Ebay, it arrived on Friday. Opened the box it came in up and found this...

I have contacted the company and told them it had leaked, they have replyed and asked how much came out, I replyed and said I wasnt sure, I havent opened it, and I havent heard anything back, so opened it this evening and took a pic.

Should I complain?

By rights they should send you a replacement free of charge surely, I once bought a tub of Keretex Mud Fever Powder which "burst" in the package, the company I bought from immediatley replaced it, no quibble and no charge.

I'd have thought they'd either send a refund or another of the product so long as you've provided photos. I guess accidents happen but it isn't YOUR fault, but most decent companies will do something about it..... this is usually what has happened for us anyway?

Yup, not fit for the purpose and not as described when you bought it.

They had the contract with the postal system they used, not you.

It is up to them to put things right or bad feedback from you and a possible complaint to Ebay if you feel like taking it further.

Did you pay with Paypal? If so,go and files a ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED dispute. Then paypal will contact seller and if you do not get satisfaction,Escalate toi a claim.I buy and sell on ebay and know this stuff.Hope that helps.
If you didnt pay thru paypal go file a dispute on ebay in the resolution centre.
