I said no but only because I thought that I would be unlikley to get placed against the plaited ones. Some shows I have seen have split classes for plaited and hogged.

yes go ahead and enter but only if you have a pulled banged tail to match and no forelock, if ou turn out as a cob you have to go the whole HOG pardon the pun and not just hog the mane or it is lazy, a neatly hogged mane and pulled tail is very hard to acheive
