I can't see it giving the amount of protection a normal body protector does. I don't know; you see, when you crash your car, you don't want a big, hard pad coming at your face, so the airbag is fab for that; but when you fall of your horse, you want something quite sturdy to protect your bones. I'd feel like I'd rattle too much in that.

They developed this a few years a go for motorcyclists I believe in tests it was proved beneficial in the reduction of neck injuries for the racers that tested it...
But no I wouldnt have one thanks

I think me horse would freak if I not only fell of but then puffed up like a blow fish, she's be leaving me to walk home looking like a plonker

It is not a hoax - it is real. A friend who runs a tack shop in Germany is considering trying it for a while to see if they sell.
