would you ever buy a saddle from ebay??

Synthetic adjustables yes no problem.....I did buy a replacement saddle once same as what I had just in better nick which was fine.

I bought a cracking leather saddle several months ago- didnt fit, so I relisted it and sold it on to someone who was well chuffed with it as it fit her horse perfectly, apparantly.

Most recent saddle I splashed out and went to a saddler
 
I bought an adjustable one from ebay for my mare but it was completely unsuitable in shape so I sold it on. By all means buy one from ebay but I would always recommend a saddle fitter to check it over, the problems caused by an ill-fitting saddle aren't worth the risk in my opinion!
 
I recently bought a beautiful Albion saddle of ebay. It's in immaculate condition and was a bargin at around £350 (I'd have happily paid £500).

My saddler had told me exactly what to buy, and then came and fitted it.
