Turn your horse out with a bull...?!
confused.gif

Mine is having the summer off and farmer offered me the use of a nice big field to turn my 16.1 horse and little companion out in, but, his bull and companion cow live there through the summer as well!
Middle-aged bull, not bad natured or anything, I just was wondering what anyone thought! Oh and my horse likes to be boss!
Do you think they would lead seperate lifes or kick up a fuss?
Cheers

Our horses used to go out with a beef herd during the summer when they had the bull visiting. The bull was a chilled out Limosine so never had an issue with it, maybe if it was a dairy bull I would have thought twice.

My old boy and his elderly companion used to live happily with our suckler herd, including the bull. They quickly became part of the herd with no problems at all.

I have seen and heard of quite a few horses who have been turned out with cows/bulls happily. I suppose you could only test and see. If the field is big enough they could lark about and get it out of their systems and hopefully settle down
