Well i had hoped to be competing my TB this summer but sadly with the news that she may have to be retired or certainly no riding for another 6 months there will be no competing for her again :( I had made this browband & matching button hole for her and finished it off today, i have decided to give it to my friend to compete her TB on Saturday instead, (r2r class) but am not sure whether shes really into the *blingy thing* :rolleyes: i want to give it too her but dont want to make her feel that she has to wear it?!:confused:
I hate making people feel awkward so shall i just bite the bullet and give it to her?! i know not everyones into the bling!!

Why not offer her it but explain you understand completely if it isn't her thing and if she doesn't want to use it, you won't be offended?

It's a lovely gesture and that's what matters.:)
 
its lovely! go for it....you could always say "don't feel you HAVE to wear it" so she has the option :)
We have a red one that someone bought for one of the girls and she just wears it hacking/schooling etc :)

Thank you, i have sent her a message saying am coming round tomorrow night with it :D she has seen them before as she knows i make them, but never asked me to make her one?? she has been so good to me and is taking me in the trailer on sat that i just wanted to say thank you :o
 
I think it looks great, wish I could make one like that. You could always offer her it to see if she wants to wear it and then if not she can say she already has one, if she says yes you can then give it to her.
 
If you explain that you originally made it for your TB but thought of her as soon as you realised you wouldn't be able to use it then I'm sure she'll be very happy. That way it doesn't at all say you think it is nicer than whatever she normally has but is still very special.
 
Just caught up on this thread and see you are a bit miffed your friend has never actually asked you to make her one so.............................

:D:D:D i did speak to her about it and now am making her a black & gold one instead :) will sell the other one on :)
