Would you go on a sponsered ride on a saturday?

We have just had our 9th happy hack for Kent Air Ambulance, but we really struggled with the route as the crops hadnt been cut! we usually have it on the Sunday a week before August bank Holiday monday, we cant have it the Sunday the day before bank holiday, but could have it on the saturday (hope you followed that!!) I know most rides are on a Sunday, do you think it will still be popular on a Saturday?
 
Yes, I can't understand why everything is on a Sunday, if local things were on both days we may well go to both if we wished to do the two.

How did it go?? I soooo wanted to come but couldnt make it, defo next year!!! :D

Yeah would do it on a Saturday, sometimes its better as you've got the sunday to recover before going back to work!! :)
 
It was a good one!! 170 horses and we took just over 3k for kent Air Ambulance.
Next year I want to make a bit special, as its our 10th anniversary! So, hopefully we might break the 200, something we have never quite reached!!

oh brilliant! thats a great amount for the air ambulance :) oooh looking forward to it already!! :)
 
I came to the hack last weekend and just wanted to say what a lovely ride it was, me and the friend I came with both thoroughly enjoyed it and so did the horses :) if it is on a Saturday next year, it wouldn't put us off coming!
 
yup so long as it wasn't in school holidays, the chances of an accident on the M5 then blocking the A38 (where we live) are too high!
 
I would love it to be on a Saturday as everything is on a Sunday and I have to work every single Sunday so never get out to anything!
 
Due to my line of work, I have to work the majority of Saturdays, which is why I can only get out and about on Sundays. It may affect number for people in a same situation, though I cant imagine it would be too significant
 
I think you will get just as much interest on a Saturday.

We did one on a Wednesday.
They had limited spaced but it was fully subscribed.
People will take days off work for their horsey days!
