Just recieved a letter from the Border collie club of Gt Britain , seems Blaze has qualified for the Border collie puppy of the year competion , cos he had some 2nd's at champ shows , we in reality don't stand a chance against the ' face's ' but it's nice to be invited and all who enter recieve a commemorative rossette .
Is a long way to travel , would you bother ?

Well seeing as some people I know drive all the way to Germany and are happy with 137th place, or shrug off geting DQ'd for something stupid after two years of hard training I would say 'yes'

Do it, we're doing a three hour drive to go to a show with Boots after our first show and qualifying. I don't care if we win, it'll be fun and I can bag some bargains
(plus I know he's gorgeous anyway )

Decided to go , will be a nice experience for my daughter who own's him , and be a day out, not many other shows in november either
