Would you have been angry?

you guys would love to hear what people say about my mum. ''Bless her heart the way she limps about-can hardly get in her car bless-oh your poor mum, how is her back'' and yeah, the woman does a great 'oh im in so much pain' dance, notice the groans getting louder and the struggling walk more pronounced the closer she is to the doctors surgery...

yeah, apparently she cant walk BUT can clamber to the top of any play planet/kids zone/play centre with my little boy, faster than most, that includes drop slides and trampolines...disabled my fecking ass!
 
Thank you everyone, in all honesty i thought maybe I was over reacting, but seems like lots of people feel like I do!
 
REPORT THEM - WHY SHOULD WE WORK OUR BACKSIDES OFF TO KEEP THEM???

Theres a lady on my yard whos in the middle of an investigation - she has 4 horses and claims DLA and had a car (paid for) Makes me sick as to be honest I have known this woman for yrs and shes always had some sort of mystery illness - but hey it dosent stop her riding everyday and downing a bottle of wine every night (ooo and the 20 cigs a day) she conning us all :mad:

I have a mother who is basically losing her memory ( its heartbreaking trust me) she worked till she was 73 paying tax on her small tiny pension- can we get a help to go in once a day - feck no as i live in a reasonable distance 60 fecking miles away and i phone her twice a day go over taking her shopping cut grass trim hedge etc but to ask for someone to visit once a day to just make sure she ok oh feck that - but it seems others get it all - thats why im fecking annoyed - she as worked far beyond what should have done and gets feck feck feck all and no not passing off my duty as a daughter to the best mum you could have had please please goverment sort it

I would guess that if she's crowing about having bills paid by benefits this is probably to detract from the fact that she's also doing lots of cash jobs on the side.

Why not!? This stupid woman deserves everything she gets, please PLEASE report her. Hopefully David Camerons benefit revamp will actually come to fruition and scumbags like this will be FORCED to go out to work or at least do voluntary work in exchange for their benefits.
 
Makes me angry too.I'm a Nurse and see so many people claiming benefits worthy of a well paid job.Most of these people could work,but can't be asked as the state provides very nicely for them.The benefit system does tend to emasculate folk like that and there is no incentive for them to work.
 
Yeah, report them. It drives me insane, especially if people are boasting about it.
I always assumed benefits were for essentials (i.e FOOD). As nice as horses are, they arn't essential (although i'm sure some will disagree). This is exactly why I think they should give out food coupons or something instead of money.

Just out of interest, did you speak to the shopkeeper? Did they express any opinion?

neither would i claiming incapacity benefit and spending all their time looking after and ridinf horses - cant be much wrong with em!:mad:As for me, i and the other half work out nuts off to keep one horse and obviously there four as well - grass em up i say!!!!:D
 
Personally would report them. But that's me, broke from paying taxes (especially fuel) & working at several jobs to try & get by.
 
If you haven't done so yet, do it now! - REPORT THEM - I have just had my hours increased with no increase in pay to help support scum like them.:mad:
 
Angry?? I'm LIVID just reading about it!!

How dare they think they can keep 4 horses off the back of taxpayers (some of whom struggle to keep their own horses). If they're boasting about it in public places, they're asking to be reported!

No I left before they did and they seemed to know the owner pretty well, hence the very open conversation I think.
 
I very much doubt they can afford 4 horses on just benefits. I would fully expect that they are either also working cash in hand or have some other even less legitimate source of income. I would report in a flash.
 
I would have had to say something there and then!! Again am all for benefits to those who really need it but not the scroungers!!! Grass them up (although am sure that a "do gooder" will spring to their defense). Unfortunately there are far too many who give the genuine claimants a bad name. I work my arse off to keep my 1 horse and as a result go without luxuries for myself (my choice) no way could I afford another one let alone another 3. Frustrated is an understatement!!
 
Tell the Benefits Agency, especially if you can 'evidence' the shopping trip by telling them where and when and are prepared to give your details. If you already work for a Gov't agency it gives your account more credence.

I thought this as well. Just doesn't all add up.
 
Report them! This drives me mad - I was out of work for 5 months end of last year, beginnning of this year. Despite the vast amounts of Tax I have paid over the last 25 years I had to wait 12 weeks before I was entitled to anything as I was considered to have made myself voluntarily out of work as I had been working on a fixed term contract. By that time I had managed to find some very poorly paid occassional temp work so was once again not entitled to anything. I had some money behind me but I still ended up having to sell one horse and my truck and put the other out on loan. I am now back working in a very full time job, once again paying lots of tax so people like that just make me sick. I sometimes think that the harder you work the more the state takes the P*** out of you :mad:
 
totally understand how you feel - i used ot work with single mums and though most were genuine and did struggle, some had better homes than me!!! they so know how to play the system and it does grate when you rworking hard and you go to visit to see they have had new kitchens fitted, bathrooms done out and huge televisions that hardly fit in thier living rooms! All at the taxpayers expense - used to annoy me so much when i was working dammed hard to pay the bills and save for littel luxuries whilst they were swanning off on foreign holidays or whatever from their dammed crisis loans!
Report them!
 
One mum claimed disability for a bad back - she proudly told me how she slept for a few nights on the floor before her interview and walked to the interview centre (having not taken her meds for a few days) so she was indeed hobbling and in pain when she got there - i reported that one!!!
