Depends what height he is and what you like to show him as.

He looks a nice hunter type to me, but if he is around the 15hh mark you could hog and show as a lw cob.

As a coloured you can show either hogged or plaited.

I think he looks lovely plaited, but has the neck to carry a hog as well, so really depends on whether you see him as a 'cob', and whether you like his mane or not, (or need it to hold onto!!)

I love your horse, is he over 15.2, if so I would hog and show him in maxi cob classes, actually I would hog him anyway he is smart.
He's 16hh ish atm, only 4 so may gain another inch plus fill out more... Thank you :) Only just taken his feathers off so he's changing more and more!

well I hate hogging as a rule, BUT in this case, I think he would carry it off really well - he is gorgeous :)

Thank you shysmum! I've never contemplated it before but lots of people were asking!

Yup, I would hog him! I will if you will ;)

Hehe! Double dare yah ;)

Well we were jumping today (wished we'd shown now :p) So he's never been in front of a judge....
Yes yes yes yes yes.......he has the neck to carry it off beautifully.
Get it off!

Buddy says that because hes muscley beast :p He is filling out nicely!

Lovely coloured chappie!

How much bone does he have? Tbh he looks more of a hunter than a cob to me, so I vote for keeping plaited.

But I'm a bit old fashioned and only like to see a hog on a show cob, rather than if the neck could take it.
