This is my boy, Jack. Thought you might like to see who i've been asking for your help with. He's a homebred (TBXID) X Welsh Sec D. Hes about 16.2hh & built like a hunter. In this picture he's rising 4 yrs old and the picture was taken just before he was sent away for schooling in 2009.

He's been in work since March 2010 and in our lesson today we finally managed a nice canter on both reins with out the crazy bronco bucking.... it was fantastic, i absolutely loved it, sorry i'm gushing but it was fab!

I was hoping to show him in working hunter classes but he has had some sarcoid treatment around his eye and the hair has grown back white so not sure whether we'll continue with that idea. Perhaps some hunter trials instead?

Thanks for looking. Feel free to comment, good or bad

Aah nice boy, looks well! may be the way he is standing but he looks very 'uphill' (unless ground is uneven). You could still do some showing they sell blemish cover up in saddleries :)

Awww he's lovely :)

I could be wrong but I don't think small scars/blemishes matter to much when doing working hunter as they are expected to get a few knocks and scratches on the 'Hunting field'.

Good luck with what ever you decide to do :)

Very uneven ground and at the time he couldn't quite grasp the standing still and square request. Think he was getting bored of being looked at and having so many pictures taken of him.... bit camera shy i think!

I'l try to post up the only picture i have of him as a foal - funny little chap...

Never tried make up for horses, never shown much before, too busy jumping stuff! Does it stay on? the sarcoid was on his eyelid so very close to the eye & he's a little headshy these days on that side so i would be a little worried about applying it...

Thanks for the comments

Sarah

With photos already on the internet you 'right click' on the picture and then click on 'properties'. It opens up all the details for the picture. You need to copy the address (URL). Then when you are doing your post click on the square with the mountain and the sun (above the box that you type in, with the Bold/Italic/Underline buttons). This brings up a box. Delete what's in it and paste in the details you copied earlier, then click OK.
