Would you loose school 3 at once?

It all depends on the dynamic between them, how responsive they are to aids and what you as the handler class as loose schooling. Is it mad tearing about or are you asking them to work, do transitions etc. I do it with a couple of mine but success depends on how each is feeling on the day. If the black one is too feisty he gets too playful and annoying. If the little fat one is too lazy it doesn’t work as trying to motivate him winds the other one up too much. I like them to be responsive to me, not annoying each other. So it’s all about timing it right, I couldn’t do it successfully every day.

Well normally I am just doing transitions and turns, and my 2 obay voice commands very well. The new boy is learning. But I certainly do not mean tearing around, they have to listen and do proper work. Actually I am anyway getting less stressed about it as the wife of our pro has asked to ride my mare while I am out, and I think if I have only 2 most days I can manage to do them separately. It is just such a nuisance as doing everything one handed takes so much longer, but because I am reliant on lifts I have less time. But looking on the bright side so far I can do almost everything. Only 2 impossible tasks so far are putting on my watch and putting a headcollar over a fly mask. Happily all 3 are polite and can be led with a rope around the neck. No point complaining I suppose but it is a bit annoying.

I sympathise, I’m trying to do ponies and walk dog with broken toe. Very minor injury and not so bad as a hand, but still inconvenient when you have things to do!

It’s a regular occurrence here with my five littles. They are not all at the same fitness level but all five get a Walk round then a little trot then the two oldies are turfed out and the younger ones get a bit more. It’s like my own little circus and they are all very good with voice command.
