just got back from viewing a pony for my nervous daughter.hes 14.2hh ,14 years old and coloured.hasnt been ridden for about 8 months as current owner tends to play with him rather than ride him.he didnt put a hoof wrong, she rode him in the arena and popped a little jump then hacked him down a lane on his own and again he didnt bat an eyelid.hes done a bit of everything in the past and jumped round 3ft courses (not that he would have to jump 3ft courses with T! ) the instructor rode him first and he accepted the bit straight away and went round in a nice outline and is well schooled. when asked to walk/trot/canter etc he basically said ok then. i think he is one of these golddust ponies and instructor says he is perfect for her. id be happy to pay the amount as he is safe as houses.(instructor has known him for 2 plus years and suggested we look at him) i know 14 isnt old in the grand scheme of things but would you pay this amount for a 14 year old ?
