Would you put a neck cover on horse with chaser clip out 24/7?

As title says, said horse is a very good doer. She is a big cob x and doesn't feel the cold at all. Her head is also unclipped.

Mine has a high chasers clip, a good doer and only has a sheet with no neck, and on nice days he is naked. He gets itchy if he gets to warm.

My cob's out 24/7 too and recently had a cross between a high chaser and a blanket clip!, if that makes sense. He too is out in a standard rug as had put such a bloody coat up he was far too warm! I had to clip to be able to ride.

My fully clipped mare doesn't always have a rug on with neck and she is fine

Nope - never put necks on now. I found that more often than not they were too hot and made the mane fall out.

Nope, my haffy has a thick double mane. If the weather was truly dreadful (snow, wind and rain) then yes I would.

No - hate seeing horses in necks, as long as their backs and loins are warm and dry they be fine.
