Yes, thinking about trying some on my coloured cob (tried so many other boots and nothing fits, they just slip). Have you found any good makes that fit coblets??????

I wouldn't put sports boots on anything! Thick heavy neoprene things *shudder*

What would you use when standard brushing/ tendons boots dont fit? My cobs legs are very straight and wide so everything slips down or moves, even when done up tight. I currently (when I can be bothered) use bandages, but mostly use nothing.
I wouldn't put anything on a cobs legs unless it moved badly and properly brushed etc. In that instance I like the lightweight NEW brushing boots with foam lining, if they didn't fit and you wanted something sport boot style then the equilibrium stretch and flex might be worth a look.
i put both front tendon boots and back fetlock boots when jumping my cob, if he got injured it would be game over for his showing carreer so i'd rather be safe than sorry. He also wears knee and brushing boots when out hacking you just cant be too careful!
I used to put brushing boots on my coblet for jumping, until I realised (thanks to the suggestions on here) that the lazy monster was just happily scraping them over the logs we were jumping, so I took them off, and now he picks up his feet a bit more!!
I did put them on him when we did a 15 mile ride recently, and I'll put them on him if we go to the gallops or out hacking somewhere new.
