Would you shoe this pony?

his feet look good to me - no way would I shoe atm. Your farrier is the one you need to have a talk with really :) The more hooves are used, the faster they grow down - it is not true that hooves get worn away !! But obviously the horse must be on the right diet to achieve this - and you must be doing that right.

If the farrier (who I know and trust) ever told me to shoe mine, I would. My farrier supports me using a Riders Rasp and keeping the shape as much as I can. We ride 6 times a week, on all surfaces.
 
His fronts are VERY boxy and upright. His left esp looks like it's got really long heels. It would be interesting to see the underside of his feet.

However, regardless of what they LOOK like, if he's comfortable, he's far more qualified to tell you what he needs and wants than a farrier is!
