Just read in a non horsey magazine (Cosmo) about a lady who did a 130km trek on horseback in India for The Brooke equine charity. I've always loved the idea of doing something like this, although her trek sounded quite "pleseant" (not doubting it was easy for a second) but compared to some you hear about. Do you think people are keen to sponsor these sorts of things? I cant decide whether the majority of non horsey folk would think well what's so hard about that, the horse is doing all the work, you just sit there, and it's like a holiday. Or do they usually raise a lot?
