I am debating whether to take my little girl to an olympia afternoon performance this year. She is usually very well behaved and sensible but obviously can have a wobble esp if tired. We have about an hour and a half journey to get there and I would bail out early if she was struggling but just wondered what other people have done and don't want to waste a ticket or overface her ! She likes horses and we have a pony but she but isn't obsessed. Any thoughts or experiences please - thanks.

Definitely take her. I take my two every year, they're now 5 and 3 and they love it. Plenty of snacks and a few breaks to have a walk around the shops and before you know it you're singing the carol and off home. Love it, my favourite show

Yes! Take her! The atmosphere is fab and she will love it, try and get the best seats you can, so she can see what's going on. Try to avoid the corners, I was sat on a corner last year and couldn't see much! I always went from a young age.

All kids are different, i think Olympia can be a bit claustrophobic, some can cope with it easily at that age, others, not so much if the child is able to cope with the set up and sit and watch, i dont see why she shouldnt go, youll know best how your child will cope

Definitely take her. We are taking our 2yo, he will love it. We've booked front row and centre block, but seats on the isle so we can keep nipping out when we need to. As long as there are animals and he can eat Quavers he will be happy :-)
