would you take the risk of buying a horse that sounds perfect and obviously i would try it out but if it had had a suspensory ligament injury?

No. There are plenty of horses out there with no soundness issues, so I would keep looking.

Depends how serious the injury was, how it was caused, how long ago it occured, how well it had healed and whether or not there were any complications as a result of it!

But probably no to be honest! It would depend what you wanted the horse for and for me they would have to prove it was only a minor injury and the horse would have to pass a vetting.

Laid back hacking and a few local shows then yes.
Anything more no - Suspensory injuries are a b#tch, and very likely to reoccur.

No.......as has been said there are plenty of horses out there without problems, don't tempt providence by buying this one

you also need to consider that your insurance company (should you insure said horse ) will exclude that leg from your policy, so if it were to reoccur you would be responsible for the total vet bill.
