A neighbour tows the pony with a clio estatey type thing so and occasionally puts her ID in it :eek3: She swears its ok but I am less convinced. It does however seem to get up our mammoth hills ok.

and our RC chairmans used to do a pretty good job off roading with the jump trailer (old style mark II, before they got bigger).

The smallest they do now in that size range is 5l or 7l that must have been a right oddball as indeed you are aware. Still not getting down to 2.5l
Isuzu do have a 3l derivative of its 7.5t truck that is designed for city deliveries but a shopping trolley would out perform it out of town so maybe not for a conversion. All the rest of theirs start at 5.1 l

Everything here is oddball, including horse and owner...but it's a stormingly good little truck! And a great engine, suspect they only ditched it because it wouldn't make Euro 3

My Defender only has a 2.2L engine and it would pull my house. It's not just the size of the engine, the way the engine is geared and uses its power is far more important.
