A nice little poll for you guys, I'd be really greatful for answers :)
the yard would have the following facilities;

Massage rugs & boots
Magnetic therapy
Hot / cold therapy
Controlled excercise
Solarium
Live in facilities (for the horse)

I'd also appreciate if you could post what activities you participate in and the reasons why you would use the yard.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but yes, if my horse could not be ridden but could do other work e.g. use a water treadmill I'd definitely do it, 100%. A friend of mine sent her horse to a rehab clinic/yard after her horse suffered a pelvis injury and the work in the water worked wonders.

I would but would only really ever send a horse to someone who was a qualified therapist so they would be able to be properly involved with developing a suitable follow up work schedule for the horse and assist along the way. I also would want that person to have a full and comprehensive knowledge of the healing process down to a cellular level so they can understand the effect of the therapies they are using and why they are used at each stage.
