Would you use a wormer that's a month out of date?

I've just had my horse tested and he needs worming. I have a wormer that would be suitable but it's been there for a while and when I checked it expired last month. Not sure whether to chance still using it as I know a lot of things are still okay really after the expiry date, or whether I should just chuck it and buy a new one.

What would others do in this situation?

I'd be happy to use it but I would be sure to overdose by 100kg or so.

Yep, I used a sedalin 12 months out of date. Still effective.

And at least with sedalin you get to tell easily that it's still working! I guess the worst that will happen with the wormer is it won't be effective and he'll need doing again but that could happen anyway.

I'd be happy to use it but I would be sure to overdose by 100kg or so.

Thanks, I always give a bit more anyway to account for weight changes and bits getting spat out etc.

Doesnt hurt to occasionally do a second worm count a few weeks after a worming to check for resistance .This could be a good time to do this. Personally ,I think its fine to use the stuff.
