stand at a gate while 2 rotties and a ridgeback were going ballistic barking at you on the other side and someone was yelling at them to shut up in the background? Then giggle and gush about how lovely they were and look quite offended when said yelling someone suggested, politely, that you bog off!! That is what a couple have just done to my dogs. Muppets.

Sorry I did'nt make myself clear!! Am not happyand am waffling. A couple walking past our house set the dogs off barking. Instead of walking on they stopped and wound them up some more. I was shouting at the dogs to shut up and asked said couple to move on pleeease!! They seemed quite offended.
Just not something I would do, would you?

I personally would go for stupid. They weren't being malicious just not on this planet!! Think they were caravanners. (No offence to caravanners in general).
On the squirrel front...both Dex and Sage are still convinced it is sitting up there but don't spend quite so much time checking!!

I mean, the dogs are there for my entertainment surely? They dont have an owner or anything like that? I am just spending a moment or two admiring them as I stroll along in the sunshine.....

AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH I hate it when people do that

I tell people not to go over to our runs as my male is territorial and quite protective of me.
They then act shocked when he goes up on his back legs and goes crazy barking at them.
Or stand there and go 'awwwww'.

My personal favourite was the couple who watched as their two 'lovely' young boys threw stones at them through the wire mesh. My mother was on the point of gagging and binding me....

Oh, I feel your pain and raise u on the level of stupidness........my rotti and a shepherd I was boarding where happily sitting in my freelander (brand new at the time)

and a stupid woman walked up to the car and allowed her terrier to stand on it's hind legs like a meer cat, barking it's head off at the humungus dogs in my freelander.............NEXT, my rotti went hell for leather and popped my back window out, glass everywhere, my rotti stayed put, because she is all gob and no action, and the idiot woman still stood there

Ah people and dogs. Dougal dog is a bit of loose canon.. he wouldn't be aggresive randomly (well..we know what makes him tip over the edge) but I'm constantly having to rugby tackle him as some muppet lets their kid run up and hug him. Not his cup of tea.

Just because he's small and cute doesn't mean he won't remove your face if you squeeze him.

Maul Tinkerdog, she's a softie...

Just bleeding well ask can you stroke the dog???

Caila - I raise the level of stupidness some more. We had an incident in a nearby town when some idiotic woman tried to sue a dog owner for biting her child. Turns out they were walking past a car with a dog in it (terrier of some kind I think) and the woman lifted up her small daughter so that she could put her hand through the window to pat the lovely doggy!!! Defies belief doesn't it?!!
