As above and do you or would you say the same things in real life face to face convesations for instance?? I like thowing the odd grenade and stiring the pot !!
friends have been shocked and amused by some of my outbursts and say if we dident
know you we would think you were a bit of a nut job :D

Yes, some of my friends have worked out who I am, while some know because I met them through the forum. Apart from that, I don't tend to post pictures of the horses or identify myself because I have been stalked by someone who even turned up at my yard several times when I wasn't there.

I think the difference with posting on a forum is that by its nature, opinions and experiences are invited for debate or information, so I'm probably a bit more direct on here than in RL.

In RL, I'm pretty easy going, but then most of the horse people I meet are lovely.

My friends could identify me by my horses' pics, but even if they weren't there I think they would probably recognise me. I'm pretty easy going most of the time but will stand up for what I believe in.

Yes I think people who know me will know its me on here I don't post pictures only because I am phobic about that sort of thing and don't know how.

Well there arnt many yellow ponies round  so yes I am fairly easy to identify and people quite often say they have seen me at a show.

I am more direct on the forum because my typing is crap also it is the nature or remote debates as the nuances of face to face conversations are lost.

and my crap spelling :D

Snap hehe! :D I think my firends would recognise me from my posts but to be honest I really wouldnt mind. I dont post much but wouldnt say anything I woulnt in real life. Im quite chilled and keep to myself but speak my mind when I feel something needs said.

I expect that they could recognise me though I don't know anyone else IRL who goes on here. I am much the same IRL and will always speak out when an animal's welfare is of concern, and am not in the least bit worried about offending people or being popular. I would not say I am rude though. Just very honest and direct. Not everyone likes that! I always try my best to be positive and constructive and offer my help if I can. Like others, I don't post easily identifiable pictures as have experienced some obsessive cyber-stalkers in the past!

I imagine so. Other than the photos of my beasts I am pretty well the same in real life - direct and usually on a tangent to the rest of the conversation :D

My friends would certainly recognise me if they read my post on the 'poor doer vs good doer' thread....... not many other people can have such a nightmare horse as my Mr Bump!

Yea, many of then call me by my user name, as do the kids and staff at my work and anything i say on here to anyone, or about training or personal stuff, i would say in real life :D .

I dont like to say anything too controversial so I hope if people did recognise me no one would think anything bad of me!

Also if you do end up making a plonker of yourself on a forum, and gain a few enemies I would worry if I was at a show and one ended up being the judge I would be marked down and sabotaged! - the odds are low but knowing my luck it would happen!! lol

Of course mine would! I don't say anything I wouldn't say to peoples faces. It's fairly obvious who I am to those who know me by the amount of pictures I post! I don't have anything to hide :).

Yes its obvious as my username is my horses name. I make no effort to go under an alias as would say the same thing in real life. To be honest the only posts I have ever really put up were asking for advice regarding my horses behaviour at the time. Nothing that would really offend anyone.
Wouldn't advise doing that if you intended on selling the horse in the future as anyone searching would only see the bad. Luckily for me I have no intention of selling.
Ooh didn't think about stalkers .

I am generally laid-back and give advice if sought in reality and I like to think I am the same on here. Which could cover a number of people so through my actions on here, no I wouldn't necessarily be recognisable.

People would know me though, through my horses pics and show reports.
