My incredibley spooky, difficult to ride & very complicated dressage horse with issues about life in general amazed me 2 years ago by happily hacking past a giant inflatable homer simpson in a santa suit that was in someones garden. It was only about 10 foot off the road too. Shame he tried to put me on the floor when he saw the scary road markings 20 yards further down the road!

Hmmm, possibly- I think we have encountered one a few years ago whilst hacking round the village... and I think we did get past it, only probably sideways and snorting!

haha! that's hilarious! umm would depend what mood he's in! He'd either walk backwards or go right up and sniff and try and eat it!

Mine would be fine the garden center we pass has seasonal displays with inflatables including Santa, Easter Bunnies and Scarecrows along with loads of bunting. The village also has annual Scarecrow competitions where people put out all kinds of weirdness (personal favorite was a pair of legs hagging from a tree with a fallen over step ladder underneath). The Donkey which lives across the road however - truly terrifying!

LOL at the Snow Man,

Our horses here regularly see very strange sights. Flying Pink sparkly fairy castles. Big bright tubes, Demon Drop slides,, fibre glass cows.

If you want your horse bomb proofed. Bring them here!!

My pony would go straight past that, then spook at a strange coloured leaf in the grass.....

Bear's exactly the same!
We went past a combiner and tractor with old muck spreader on the back on a narrow country lane the other day, he didn't take any notice of them, but you ride him past an odd coloured leaf/flower he has a heart attack!

Wierdly my insane TBx wouldn't have a problem with it - the field she was born in and lived in for 2 years until we got her was surrounded by flags. Ponio would have a heart attack though...

we have one of these on our yard as they sell xmas trees. Last year i took inky for a walk past it and on the way out of the yard, in front of several customers, he dragged me over and tried to sh*g it!! When unsucessfull he then tried to sh*g the bales of straw the trees were resting on

A young'un I was bringing on used to keel over at a particular stone, was fine with working combine harvesters 2 metres away (I couldn't go anywhere else!) and screaming children running around... but THAT stone was a big scary horse killer with devil-horns as far as he was concerned. So he probably would've been fine.

First he would freeze and stare at it for about a minute. Then, he would either suddenly spin and attempt to bolt, and then return to freezing and staring, or he would very very cautiously walk past.

My Andalusian would try to eat it. If it was blowing in the wind and battering from side to side he wouldnt care, totally unfazed by anything!!!! Superstar!

Good luck though, I wouldnt mind being a fly on the wall!!!
