I've got a very thin skinned fully clipped TB that has a wound on his hip. I need to get a dressing and cover the wound with it so he can be rugged without rubbing the wound. How on earth can I get a dressing onto his hip and to stay here?
I know in the past I've had a form of plaster for horses but local tack shop doesn't sell them and I dont know what the brand name is - anyone know? or have any other suggestions

You can always use just a dressing pad and then apply plaster tape (human stuff from chemist!!!) all over it!!! Not great but better than nothing. Once a nice scab has formed I wouldn't bother putting anything on it, unless the rug actually pulls the scab or rubs it. Just stick loads of aloe vera on it!!!
