Well after what feels like years (its been about 6 weeks really) I can ALMOST give my friend her synthetic saddle back as today I purchased a WOW dressage saddle and I just love it!

Whats everyones thoughts? I was told when I tried it that you either hate it or love it and after not being that endeared to it at first by the time I had trotted then cantered I was sure to be on the 'love it' side!

My next question is what dressage girth and webber leathers does any recomend? I really like the wintec cair girths but I am finding it exceptionally difficult to come by the right size (my horse is a 26'' and I seem to find lots of 48''!), as for webbers I have no idea!

Thanks from a 'loved up' new saddle owner!

Im like a kid at christmas since I rode in it this afternoon! The frustrating thing is until I can get a girth and leathers I feel it may be a little dangerous to ride in! haha I looked at the wintec girths and they are nice but after using the cair one today it was soo soft and comfortable feeling that I was hoping to find one!

I have wow leathers in mine and just use a wintec girth on it.

I'm actually selling my Wow as my 4 yr old hates it (did have it on previous comp horse and kept it after he was sold).

I got free stirrup leathers with mine.....sounds like I was lucky :)!!!! While waiting for them I turned my normal leathers upside down so the buckle was by the iron, worked really well. Have fun with your new toy!!!!

I use Bates leathers and a wintec girth (the one with tiny holes all over it and all-through elastic stretch).

Looove my giant block dressage too, was mega lucky and got it on ebay very reasonably 2 years ago :0)

I'm now trying to decide whether or not to buy a second for my baby when she's 4 next year ;0)

I have a WOW jump saddle but yes I too use Bates leathers and a wintec girth. I got a cair girth from Equestrian Clearance so they def do the short ones but it was a leather on not the synthetic version. Had to get rid of it though cos my horse's elbow kept catching on it (his problem not the girth's!)
