Ok boring post alert and not advertising but just wanted to recommend some really good customer service.

My Ariat wellies split after only a year and I was really annoyed as they cost £60 and I haven't even used them that much. Anyway, I emailed Ariat and within 24 hours they are sending me out a brand new pair! No questions asked. They also did this with my riding boots a couple of years ago (although they cost £200)

Excellent customer service and value for money!

Do you still have them? If you can send them pictures they might still send you some new ones.

I guess the down side is that we're all having problems with them spliting / falling apart within a few months but who cares if they are willing to replace them! I'll definately be buying from them again.

Oooh... My ariat wellies have just split (after only having them a few months) - I'm absolutely gutted but have lost the receipt so haven't contacted them, do you think it's worth a try anyway?

It Really makes a difference when company do that my dubarry soles spilt after over Year I took them back to the saddler( nice and clean ) he returned them to dubarry within 2 weeks he rang he to say they had sent him a credit so I could pick a new pair.
Ariat and dubarry two companys who do look after customers .

Love Ariat. I only ware Ariat mules! first pair lasted 3yrs! in constant use, second pair took a turn for the worst after a few months, took them back to Ariat retailers replaced immediately, aslo use short riding boots / chaps / coats / bromonts. Can't say they are expensive because they are so worth the money!

All my ariats split within a year, but I think it is because I have a slightly wide foot. I also wear them nearly every day, in all weather. (I have an office job, but wear them before/after work and on weekends as well.)

Is it reasonable for me to raise this with them, or is that expecting too much. They are about $175 AUD a pair. I have just bought another pair - this time the waterproof version.

I won some Grasmeres in a competition, and after 18 months they were leaking, so I emailed to ask if they could repair them (I expected to pay), and they sent a prepaid label, and later returned the boots all resealed - no charge!

Thank you, I had just assumed that they'd only "believe me" if I had the receipt as proof of purchase and I've searched high & low and can't find it anywhere - annoyingly I know I've "put it somewhere safe"! If they'd be happy with just a photo then that would be fab - will email them later, suppose it's definitely worth a try :)
