WOW, just got back on my horse after 4 months!!

My god he is so different!!

It took the saddler two and half hours to get the saddle to fit, and that involved me getting on and off 4 times too, considering he hasnt been sat on for so long he was a complete angel

What i mean by different.... He now has a huge huge walk, hes back is very swingy, hes really light on the front and you can really feel him push from behind, and thats just at walk!! I cant wait to trot and canter

The only thing ive changed in these 4 months is an Equilibrium massage pad! When he first went on box rest i bought him one so he had something to look forward to everyday, now he is out he has it on about 4 times a week! Im

People say how much they rate them but i didnt realuise they do so much! Best £200 ive ever spent..

So... Just wanted to let you all know, im still alive and im the proudest mummy ever today

Mrs M, Go for it, i would recommend the pad to anyone, because Jack was stuck in, i didnt really know if it was doing anything or not, but today, first time on him, i am stunned! Not the same horse at all. Alot of people that watched today (hoping he would have fit when i got on!) could see from the ground how different he looked, really over-traking... I might see if i can strap it to myself

I know how you feel. I rode my mare 3, nearly 4 weeks ago after 10 months box rest due to a DDFT tear. Shes doing super and so far we have ridden out in company. Over the last 2 days we have led out and shes been an absolute angel. Just as though the box rest never happened, shes now on box confinement til the Summer fields open in May and will be her 13th month since she went in a field. Not sure if I should wait until the 14th month so as not to tempt fate.
