Ive got a wow dressage saddle with deep seat and thought horse wouldnt jump again. Have been given go ahead to jump now by vet, but dont want to use anything but her wow due to behaviour issues with other saddles. I am umming and ahhing about whether to go for whole new wow jumping saddle with flatter seat or just the jumping flaps. Has anyone got any advice?
Seat shape doesnt really bother me as I always used to jump in deep seat although I understand its not as good as flat for cross country. Does it matter? I think Ill only be doing intro and pre novice.
Does anyone use one for eventing and change flaps between phases?
Also does anyone use the jumping flaps for everyday hacking out or cc rides etc? Are they comfortable over 10 mile distances?
