Does anyone have any experience of these saddles? I have only heard about them from one person who said she was very impressed after riding on one but hated how they looked
Any other views/advice appreciated

I have one which is great but getting a GOOD fitter is a bl00dy nightmare - think a hundred notes each time ...... so for that reason I am trying to sell it. Even though the ar*e of the market has fallen out on eBay

!

I guess you could do what some people do and get the kit to adjust it yourself ... but Im not that confident.

I cant personally believe that AIR can be that expensive!

However FTE dont actually publish their entire list of fitters for wow saddles on their website - so if you do get one second hand, best ring and specifically ask wow for a fitter in your area.

So if you want my opinion get an Ideal flocked saddle - wish I has never sold mine now

I bought one for our lop sided mare. Got a good saddle fitter out, took him 2 hours but we got there. mare went beautifully, daughter HATED it. She said it was uncomfortable, ugly and heavy!
Sold it on for more than I paid (lucky!) and got a made to measure saddle.

We've got a 2 WOWs one with a deep seat and dressage flaps and one with a flat seat and XC flaps. We love 'em and horse goes very well in them. Getting a good fitter is a bit of a nightmare but we wouldn't swap ours for a traditionally treed and flocked saddle now

I have six. Speaks for itself really. I fit them myself. All my horses love the freedom of the carbon fibre jointed tree and I would accept a less comfortable saddle for myself to give them that freedom. The old ones are VERY heavy, the newer ones are lighter but still heavier than other saddles. They are not close contact, but you do feel the horse move. They can be VERY variable in the amount of padding in the seat, and some I find downright uncomfortable because they are padded too full. I would never use one without a geleze pad (very thin gel pad) because many horses are sensitive to the airbag overlap. They are absolutely unbeatable for adjusting as young horses develop, so you only have to change the headplate and the amount of air.

I'm looking for dressage flaps with moveable block, full saddle or just flaps, if anyone is selling. Would also take VSD extra length. Brown or brown and black combination.

My favourite saddle not! Love the concept, dislike the attitude of the company owners and the lack of 'good' WOW fitters.

Good news is I managed to sell it

Had very bad experience with WOW saddle fitter, he basically ruined my horses' back! Got no back up from WOW, they actually still recommend this guy and by digging I found out he had done the same to quite a few horses in the area. Luckily I sold it easily as they were quite popular at the time but wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. I was so worried about fitting after that I went to a Heather Moffatt Phoenix part treed and have never looked back. Be very careful.
