Wow! Seriously love my horse!!

I have just got back from my lesson with Jerry. I can honestly say even if he breaks my other leg he ain't going anywhere!

I was convinced it would be a nightmare for a number of reasons...

- couldn't lunge him before hand as didn't get home from work in time

- first time back in scary indoor school in over 3 months

- I was nervous as hell!

BUT got there and he was very calm, walked trotted and cantered round all nice and slowly and relaxed. Did half an hour flat work lesson, and then trainer said maybe some jumping would do him good. That really set me off panicking, haven't jumped him since he broke my leg

Stated with a pole on the ground which he jumped 4ft in the air, but then after that he was an angel. Did a little double and then he kept putting the second bit up, till it was about a 3ft spread, (biggest J has ever jumped) he did it beautifully

(Still felt like he could carry on all night though

)

So we called it a day after that. I am grinning from ear to ear! I wouldn't care if he did break my other leg tomorrow he is here for good LOL

Silly really and luckily I was not hurt, more of an unplanned dismount!

Absolutely fine, landed on my knees. Typical baby thing, he was cantering down the long side of school I was perhaps a bit too relaxed and he suddenely spooked did a 180 and a buck and I was on the floor! Got straight back on and had no further problems.
