wow we have LIQUID water!!

LIQUID water on the ground, in the air, in the hosepipe and on the windows!!!!!!! Still some ice, but more water, for the first time in almost 2 weeks, and its not giving freezing temperatures tonight!!

sorry just had to share it! (also sorry to everyone who has not yet started to thaw out!! )

haha we only were frozen for about 3 days and that was more than long enough for me! So I know just how exited you feel.... although I was a little upset that I had gone to the massive effort of of digging out huge paths in the ice thinking we were in it for the long haul

Our automatic drinkers and taps have finally started to thaw, yay! Although it is meant to be freezing again on Monday, boo!

Amazing what you take for granted like flushing toilet at the yard, running water. Strange to see the fields again. BAd thing is the mud and dirty horses and rugs again!!!

The other day, a friend was talking to the vet to see if she could get some bute for her horse whose leg was slightly swollen and the vet suggested hosing it...well we could potin a frozen hose in the direction of horses leg, but I doubt we are going manage to fit the horse in the shower!
