Today I rode a horse who was obediant, up in front, light in its frame and working into the contact. Gave me some really nice lateral work including baby half passes and some good uphill and light canter work. and do you know what made it even better????

It was Dan!!!!

Ok he probably wasn't quite as good as he sounds but he was the best he has felt in years (no understatement!!). In proper self carriage rather than leaning on my right hand (which has always been an issue due to old injury), and working through from behind. I think our weekend unwanted galloping exploits actually did some good making him realise he can still use his arse properly.

He felt fabulous though and i'm just hoping it continues. Didn't do too much today as I know would have been tempted to ask too much of him but oh what a feeling
